How to get to Mahana Lodge
BOOK NOWAccess to to our special place on the Queen Charlotte Track is by walking, biking or boat only.
Mahana Lodge is accessed by walking or biking the Queen Charlotte Track or by catching a water taxi from Picton. There is no guest road access to Mahana. We are 40 minutes by special water taxi service from Picton but most of our guests opt for a more leisurely cruise taking in the sights of Ship Cove and the Queen Charlotte Track on their way to us.
Just let us know your travel requirements upon booking and we can arrange your water taxi and luggage transfers to suit.

As the name Mahana suggests – warmth, shelter and hospitality . . . the lodge and surrounding gardens are immaculate. It is a very pretty setting with a private beach. The views from the lounge and kitchen area are breath taking.
